Your solar plant is telling you things. Nobody's listening.
The BrAIn is a small box that sits next to your inverter and a platform that reads it: every string, every minute. Production, faults, heat, dust, export limits, batteries. One dashboard, and alerts written in sentences instead of error codes.
12 strings · one running below its neighbours · 186 kWh into the battery today instead of being thrown away
One box. Every string. Plain answers.
Your inverter portal shows one number for the whole plant. The BrAIn watches every string separately, all day, and compares each one with what it should have made in that day's sun. When something drifts, you get a message that says what happened, where, and what it is worth doing about it.
Every string, separately
Not one number for the whole plant. Each string measured against its neighbours and against the day it actually had.
Faults found early
A loose connection, a shaded string, an inverter cutting back in the heat. Each one named, located and explained while it is still small.
Dust, measured
What dust is costing this particular site, and the day cleaning it starts paying for itself.
Export kept at the limit
Your site stays under the export cap on its grid connection, without blunt shutdowns.
Batteries, scheduled
Surplus goes into the battery and comes back out when the building needs it, not when a timer says so.
On the desk and in the pocket
A dashboard in the browser, an app on the iPhone, and every day since installation kept behind both.
Nothing to stare at
You are not meant to watch a dashboard all day. The BrAIn stays quiet until something is worth your attention, then tells you in a sentence, and tells you what it is costing, so you can decide whether it is worth the trip.
What an ordinary Tuesday looks like
Illustrative examples of the messages The BrAIn sends. Real alerts carry your own site and string names.
- Warehouse roof, Al Quoz07:42
String 3 on inverter 2 has been 17% below its neighbours since Sunday. The pattern points to a connection, not dust.
- Villa, Arabian Ranches11:15
Dust loss has reached 6.8%. At your cleaning cost, washing on Thursday pays for itself in 19 days.
- Cold store, Dubai Industrial City13:03
Inverter temperature reached 71°C and output was limited for 40 minutes. Check the ventilation around the unit.
- Factory, Jebel Ali14:30
Export held at your connection limit for 3 h 10 min. The battery took 212 kWh that would otherwise have been curtailed.
It doesn't just watch. It acts.
Many grid connections in Dubai come with an export cap. The BrAIn's energy management keeps the site under it by steering the inverter and the battery, instead of switching things off and hoping for the best.
Export limiting
Holds grid export at the limit you set, second by second.
Battery scheduling
Charges from surplus solar and discharges when the building needs it.
Remote commands
Change limits and modes from the dashboard. Every change is logged.
Confirmed, not assumed
Every command is checked against the inverter afterwards, so you know it actually took effect.
Cleaning costs money. So does dust.
Wash too often and you pay crews to clean glass that was fine. Wait too long and the sand takes a slice of every day's production. The BrAIn works out where the line falls for your site, from your own production data.
On a real roof you cannot wipe a panel to find out. Go on, wipe this one.
Try it with your numbers
Nobody knows this number until they measure it. The BrAIn measures it for your site. Until then, use an estimate.
What it connects to
GoodWe works today. Solis and Huawei are being added. Every brand has to be built and tested on real hardware before it goes on this list, so we add them one at a time rather than claiming all of them at once.

Running something else? Tell us the model. Most modern inverters can be supported, and a partner asking for a brand is what moves it up the list.
Installation, step by step
We come and fit the box
It goes in the electrical room next to your inverter. Half a morning, and the system keeps running.
Nothing on the roof is touched
Your panels, inverter and wiring stay exactly as they are.
It goes online
On the internet connection the site already has.
You open the app
Your site is there the same day, with live data. The dust figures sharpen over the first few weeks as it learns the site.
For installers and O&M teams
If you build or maintain solar in the UAE, The BrAIn gives you one view of every site you look after, alerts that tell your technicians what to bring, and cleaning schedules you can justify to the client with numbers. We're starting with a small number of partners in Dubai.
Talk to us about partneringQuestions we get asked
Does it work with my inverter?
It works with GoodWe today, and Solis and Huawei are being added. If you have something else, tell us the model. Most modern inverters can be supported, and we'll tell you straight if yours can't.
How does it tell dust apart from a fault?
Dust builds up slowly and fairly evenly across a site. Faults are sudden, or confined to one string. The BrAIn compares strings with each other and with the expected output for the day's conditions, and treats the two patterns differently.
How do you know what dust is costing me?
By comparing what your panels actually made with what that day's weather says they should have made, and watching how the gap grows between washes. The figure gets sharper over the first few weeks as it learns your site.
Does it interfere with Shams Dubai net metering?
The BrAIn reads the inverter and, if you want, controls it. It doesn't replace your DEWA meter or change your net-metering arrangement.
Do I need to replace anything?
No. Your panels, inverter and wiring stay exactly as they are. The box sits beside the inverter and listens to it.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, on iOS. The same data is available in the web dashboard.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of inverters and whether you want control as well as monitoring. Tell us about the site and we'll send a quote.
